Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Test Technician / Electrical Controls to join our Quality team. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, this role is responsible for performing final inspection and testing of complex electrical control systems to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, experience reading schematics, and a passion for quality and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Perform final inspection and testing of electrical control systems using complex blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
Ensure products meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements
Maintain high attention to detail and efficiency in a fast-paced environment
Diagnose and troubleshoot test failures to identify and resolve root causes
Provide technical support to the Quality Control team
Collaborate with Design and Manufacturing Engineering to develop and maintain documentation for production
Work cross-functionally with department leaders to resolve inspection and testing issues
Train inspectors and production personnel to reduce defects and improve product quality
Participate in meetings and execute assigned action items
Support continuous improvement initiatives and Quality Management System efforts
Maintain accurate testing and inspection records
Assist in the design and fabrication of test fixtures
Help develop and document test procedures


Qualifications

Degree or technical certification in an electrical discipline (required)
3-5 years of experience in an electrical testing or controls environment
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
Proficiency with electrical test equipment including meters, power supplies, transformers, and other diagnostic tools
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
